If you're a subscriber to AirAsia's on-line newsletter, the Malaysian based No-Frills Carrier (via AirAsia-X) has officially announced another flight path; this time to Melbourne, Australia - traveling from November 2008 to April 2009... pricing from RM99 onwards.Booking for tickets however starts from 21st-24th August this year... so for those eager to fly there for vacation and sight-seeing, don't hesitate and book fast!
Like the previous long haul destination to Gold Coast, Australia... traveling commences from Kuala Lumpur. The Borneo Islands still do not have this flight or any AirAsia-X based flights
at present... (and I doubt they ever will)With Melbourne in the way for low-cost traveling from Malaysia, tourists can travel to either Tasmania via ferry or Sydney via road trips... two very well-known tourist destinations to travel for the eager tourist!
This has been the flight that I've been hoping since February this year... but apparently, the flight period is rather late in it's coming... or is it? I may have matters preventing me from taking a visit... but who knows? I only await decisions on the matter. *smiles*
